fix

In NetIQ Group Policy Administrator 3.0 and prior, the existing RSoP analysis must be deleted and then the RSoP analysis must be rerun after the GPO setting has been modified. In order to determine the result of the GPO when the user logs into the machine NetIQ Group Policy Administrator (GPA) simulates the process .  In order to perform this, NetIQ GPA version 2.0 and earlier creates temporary GPO objects in Active Directory and removes them after generating the report. If a change to a setting is made, it requires a new RSoP analysis to be run so a new temporary GPO can be created with the correct settings.

NetIQ GPA version 3.0 and later the RSoP analysis runs in memory instead of creating the temporary GPO objects in Active Directory.  However, the RSoP analysis must still be recreated for the changes made to a GPO to be reflected in the report.  In Group Policy Administrator 4.0 and later, the RSoP Analysis can be saved and organized into containers and can be rerun at a later date.
