Computer account appears twice under computer views.

When viewing computers under My ActiveViews | Computer views in the Directory and Resource Administrator MMC, certain computer accounts may appear twice. The path for one account will list the Active Directory path for the computer account itself. The second occurance of the computer account shows the path as computer_name/Computer_name so that the machine name is listed twice.

cause
This issue occurs if DRA is set up to manage a domain that has a member server or workstation in it and also to manage the local security database on that member computer. The path that lists the computer's name twice comes from the managed security database on that machine. Since the My ActiveViews snap-in node sorts things by object class and then alphabetically, the identical computer names are listed one after the other and give the appearance of being duplicates.
