Can the Recycle Bin be emptied through a schedule?

How do I schedule the Recycle Bin to be emptied?

NetIQ Directory and Resource Administrator makes use of a internal recycle bin for objects deleted within DRA. This recycle bin adds an extra layer of security / recovery ability for objects removed within DRA.

The DRA Recycle Bin can be set to automatically clean up objects contained within it, on a set schedule. To enable the Schedule:

 

Open the Delegation and Configuration console, as the DRA Service Account (Or other account with DRA Configuration Powers)

Connect to the Primary DRA Server

Expand the Account & Resource Management Tree

Expand the Recycle Bin

Right Click the Recycle Bin for a specific domain

Ensure there is a check in the Enable the Recycle Bin for this domain

Configure the various options below for enabling the schedule and also the criteria

Apply & Save the changes

 

These settings are specific to each managed Domain. They will replicate to each DRA Server during the next Multi Master Synchronization.
