Directory and Resource Administrator 6.x
fact
Directory and Resource Administrator 7.x
symptom
Assistant Admins, connected to a Secondary DRA server, do not see the Exchange 5.5 mailbox tab when viewing user properties.
symptom
Assistant Admins, connected to the Primary DRA server do see the Exchange 5.5 mailbox information for user accounts, yet connected to a Secondary, no mailbox information is displayed.
cause
Exchange 5.5 settings, such as Preferred Exchange server, are not replicated and must be set on each DRA server.
fix
note
The reason that the Exchange settings are not replicated is so you can point each Directory and Resource Administrator server to a preferred Exchange server within the local site. Therefore, the Directory and Resource Administrator server does not have to connect across a slow WAN link. In addition, having each Directory and Resource Administrator server use the same Preferred Exchange server introduces a single point of failure.
