cause
This error is most often the result of MAPI32.DLL not being available on the workstation where the client is being installed.

fix
The following troubleshooting steps can be taken in this situation:

1. Verify the full version of MS Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher was installed prior to installation of the DRA client.
2. If IE was already installed, verify that MAPI32.DLL resides in the WINNT\SYSTEM32 directory.
3. Compare the size and date of the MAPI32.DLL file on the suspect workstation with that on another machine. If they are different, copy MAPI32.DLL from the other machine and retry the installation.
4. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it is likely that a DRA or system DLL that is required for registering the DRA DLL is missing. Run the Dependency Walker utility (depends.exe), from the Windows 2000 Support Tools, to determine which DLLs are required in order to register the DLL that appears in the error message. Search to find out if one of these required DLLs is missing on the machine which has the error. Try replacing the missing DLL with the same DLL from a machine with the same operating system, service pack, and IE version, and which installed the DRA client successfully.
