Error: 'Failed to copy the cache file to the secondary' is Displayed When Viewing the Details of the Multi-Master Synchorinzation Status in the Directory and Resource Administrator Console

When viewing the Multi-Master statistics tab on the Directory and Resource Administrator the following error messages are displayed:
Problem with last multi-master synch
Failed to copy the cache file to the secondary
cause
The issue is caused by either:
- The DRA service account does not have write permissions on the ..\program files\Netiq\DRA\Refresh directory on the secondary server.
- The Admin$ share has been removed from the secondary.
fix
The issue can be corrected by either:
- Give the Service/Override account the appropriate permissions (Write permissions) on the ..\program files\Netiq\DRA\Refresh on the secondary.
- Re-add the Admin$ share to the secondary.
