How do I grant an AppManager user the right to put computers into Maintenance Mode without granting admin privileges

To configure AppManager Security Manager for a specific user to have permissions to put an AppManager Agent into Maintenance mode and not be part of the Administrators group:

1. Open AppManager Operator Console.
2. Go to Extensions | Security Manager.
3. Select AppManager Roles.
4. Right-click and select Add Role.
5. Enter a name for the Role in the Role Name field.
6. Click OK.
7. Expand AppManager Roles.
8. Select the newly created AppManager Role.
9. Under Functional Rights, select Role Has Rights Only To Selected Functions.
10. Expand AppManager | TreeView and check Set Maintenance Mode. (At a minimum, also ensure AppManager, TreeView, and Launch AppManager are selected; other rights are optional.)
11. Click Apply.
