Resolution

symptom
A user cannot access the Web Console if not a member of the local administrators group on the DAS.

fix

This is normally caused by the Users group not having permissions correctly defined on certain registry keys.

To solve this problem:

  1. Run Regedt32.
  2. Open the following registry key: HKLM \ Software \ Mission Critical Software \ OnePoint \ Databases.
  3. Highlight the databases key.
  4. Select Security | Permissions from the menu.
  5. Grant Full Access to the Users group.
