Resolution
Directory and Resource Administrator 6.x
fact
Directory and Resource Administrator 7.x
symptom
The Pre-Windows 2000 Compatible Access group does not have the Everyone group as a member in the MMC.
fix
Currently, the "Everyone" group is not handled by Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA). The Everyone group is a special circumstance group. Active Directory Users and Computers does not allow you to add the Everyone group to a local group. The only way to add the Everyone group to a local group is to use the command line below.
net localgroup "local group" everyone /add
An Enhancement Request has been opened with Development to include this functionality in a future version of Directory and Resource Administrator.
note
Windows 2000 has a special group called 'Pre Windows 2000 Comp' that contains the Everyone group by default. Currently, the DRA does not display the Everyone group.
