Trusted domains are being dropped on a regular basis when viewing domain information under 'Managed and Trusted Domains' in the Directory and Resource Administrator MMC.

cause
The cause of this issue could be that a Registry backup is being performed on the DRA server at the same time the Domain Cache Refresh is scheduled.  A registry backup may cause Netlogon traffic to not occur during the period of the Domain Cache Refresh.

fix
To resolve this issue change the schedule of the registry backup or the Domain Cache Refresh so there is not a conflict.
