Situation
Error: 'Not a valid Win 32 application' or 'Incompatible file format' When Installing DRA
Resolution
Delete the existing incomplete file and download the latest version from the NetIQ Website
Download: Directory and Resource Administrator
Or
Contact the NetIQ Sales team and request the latest release of the product media.
Cause
When downloading the install for DRA, the file can become corrupted. If the download is corrupted or otherwise unstable, you might have errors when installing the product. To verify this, note the size of the downloaded file before extraction by viewing its properties. The size of the file should compare to that listed on the product download page.
