Situation

How can Directory and Resource Administrator be installed to a location other than the default?

How can Directory and Resource Administrator be installed to a drive other than the C: drive

Resolution

In order to install DRA server or web components to a location other than the default, please perform the following steps:

  1. Launch the DRA installation program.
  2. Select the Begin Setup option.
  3. Click Next to continue the installation.
  4. Select the products you want to install.
  5. Click the Custom button.
  6. Click the Browse button to select the desired location.


Cause

There are times when it may be necessary to install DRA on a different drive than the Default.

The Browse option will not be available if the installation program detects a previously installed version of Directory and Resource Administrator.
