Situation
AMAdmin_AgentInstall Knowledge Script generates an event stating that the installation was Partially Complete and suggests to run diskperf -y to enable performance monitoring.
Resolution
Open a command prompt on the target system and run the following command:
diskperf -y
You will receive a confirmation message from the system indicating that the counters are enable. The message may differ across operating system versions.
Cause
On Microsoft Windows 2000 and earlier systems the disk performance counters are not enabled by default. The installation will warn you that you should run 'diskperf -y' from a command prompt to enable the disk performance counters in the event you wish to run knowledge scripts that monitor those counters.
