How do I delay jobs upon startup of the NetIQ AppManager Client Resource Monitor (NetIQmc) service?

To delay jobs upon startup of the NetIQ AppManager Client Resource Monitor (NetIQmc) service do the following on the target AppManager Managed Client (or Agent) :

1. Open the Registry Editor (regedt32).
2. Navigate to:
   
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NetIQ\AppManager\4.0\NetIQmc\Config
   
   
3. Go to Edit | Add Value.
    
    Value Name: StartUpDelay
    Data Type: REG_DWORD.
   
   
4. Click OK.
5. In the DWORD Editor, select Hex and enter a value in the Data field for the number of seconds the jobs on this target Server are to delay before starting.
6. Click OK.
7. Restart the NetIQ AppManager Client Resource Monitor (NetIQmc) service.
