Situation

Error: 'Internal Error 2755.3 %path%\NetIQ Chariot VoIP Assessor.msi.'

Error: "Internal Error installing VoIP Assessor"

Terminal Server remote session established.

Resolution

To work around this issue, connect to the share by using the Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path using the following syntax:

          \\servername\share

Then start the installation using setup.exe.

 

Cause

This issue can occur if you attempt to install Vivinet Assessor over the network by using a mapped drive.

If you log onto the console, you do not receive the error message, even if the share is mapped to a network drive.
