Situation

How do I configure a Knowledge Script so that an Action is sent out when an Event has a state change?

Resolution

To set this up, you will need to perform the following steps:

  1. In the Advanced section of the Knowledge Script Properties, check the box next to "Generate a new event when original event condition no longer exists".
  2. Go to the Actions section of the Properties and select the desired Action.
  3. The Action Type should be set to "Event Down".
