Resolution

fact
Domain Migration Administrator 7.1

symptom
'Undo task limit' prevents the entry of letters, but not 'out-of-range' numbers in Advanced Settings.

symptom
Domain Migration Administrator allows you to input a very high and/or negative number for the 'Undo task Limit' which defaults to 100.

change

In DMA 7.1:

  1. You are no longer allowed to enter negative numbers.
  2. An entry of 0 will be changed back to the default of 100
  3. Entries can be as a larget as 2,147,483,647. Values larger than that will be converted to invalid entries.

**NOTE** It is recommended that the limit not exceed 1000. The higher the number the more database performance is affected.

cause

This is a known issue with DMA 7.0.

fix

This issue has been resolved in Domain Migration Administrator7.1.  Please install the latest release of the software.
