Situation
Unable to install AppManager agent.
Error: 'Unable to create Local Repository for the AppManager managed client (NetiQMC) service.'
Error: 'Unable to create the registry key and the local repository for the NetIQ AppManager Client Communications Manager (NetIQccm) service.'
Error: 'Autonomous operation requires access to a local repository and will not be available on this computer.'
Problem reported during setup.

Resolution
To ensure MDAC is properly installed:
- Run the setup program for the latest version of MDAC from Microsoft at hthttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/231943
- Reboot.
- If you are using Windows NT, also install MSJET drivers from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/239114
Cause
The MDAC is not properly installed and configured.

You can also verify that the Account being used to install AppManager on the server has access to make changes to the system's registry.
