Why does the pre-installation check for Analysis Center fail with the message 'OLAP service must be running as a Windows 2000/NT 4.0 Domain account with "OLAP administrator" privileges' when the service account is a member of that group?

The AppManager Analysis Center pre-installation check does not understand the Windows 2000 Active Directory format for user accounts:

fix

Change the service account to the Windows NT 4.0 format:

techsupport\user

The account must also appear this way when viewing it in the OLAP Administrators group.
