Version Information

symptom

The version of the AppManager Agent is not reflected in the AppManager Repository.



fix

Run the appropriate Discovery knowledge scripts on the AppManager Agent to update the version information in the AppManager Repository.

The version of the AppManager Agent and its Managed Objects can be identified by navigating to the %\NetIQ\AppManager\Bin directory on the AppManager Agent and viewing the Properties of the Managed Objects (Q*a4.dll files. The build number for AppManager 4.3 is 4.3.20.10.

NOTE: AppManager does not actively update the version information in the AppManager Repository but relies on the AppManager Administrator/User to run the appropriate Discover knowledge scripts to do this.
