fix
To help you easily track the consolidation process, you can choose from several levels of error logging. When you choose detailed error logging, ensure there is adequate disk space on the source computer or the computer where the agent is running to store the log files.
The logging options are located on the 'Advanced Server Options' page in Server Consolidator's 'Migrate Files, Folders and Shares' Wizard. You have the option to log 'Errors only', 'Changed files only' or 'Matched and changed Files'.
- Errors only will only log any errors that SC encounters during the transfer.
- Changed files only will log any errors that SC encounter during the transfer, as well as any files, folders, or shares which have changed since it's last transfer.
- Matched and changed files will log any errors that SC encounters during the transfer, as well as any files, folders, or shares which it previously transferred.
Server Consolidator stores this information in the DCTLog.txt file on the source computer in either the C:\temp folder or the C:\Winnt\Temp folder. There will be designations in the log to explain the file logging.
M - Matched files
C - Created Files
U - Updated (Changed)
