For Security Manager version 4.x and earlier, the Concept Guide, Installation Guide, and Evaluation Guide are good sources of information.  The Guides are available online from the NetIQ Security Manager support site.  Security Manager setup also installs the documentation to the hard disk. After you install Security Manager, you can access the online Help, which includes an extensive "How To" section.

Note: Security Manager versions 5.0 and later replace the Concept Guide with the User Guide for Security Manager and also include the Programming Guide for Security Manager.  Security Manager version 5.5 replaces the Evaluation Guide for Security Manager with the Product Preview and Trial Guide and provides separate Monitoring Guides for Security Manager modules.

• In Security Manager versions 4.x and earlier, setup installs all Operations Manager and Security Manager documentation in the installation folder\MCS OnePoint\OnePoint\Doc folder.
• In Security Manager version 5.0, setup installs all Security Manager documentation in the installation folder\MCS OnePoint\OnePoint\Documentation folder.
• In Security Manager versions 5.1 and later, setup installs all Security Manager documentation in the installation folder\NetIQ Security Manager\OnePoint\Documentation folder.
