Performance Issue When Attempting to Navigate through an Object List in the MMC Interface
symptom
Memory utilization on the client computer increases steadily and Directory and Resource Administrator's MMC interface takes an extraordinary amount of time to perform any of the following actions:
Directory and Resource Administrator 6.30 SP1
cause
The above issue occurs when managing large domains and navigating through an object list of more that 50,000 objects in the MMC interface.
fix
The above issue was addressed with the release of Hotfix Q12105 for Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) 6.30 SP1 and is included in all subsequent releases.

Memory utilization on the client computer increases steadily and Directory and Resource Administrator's MMC interface takes an extraordinary amount of time to perform any of the following actions:
- Scroll through the list by selecting one item at a time.
- Sort the list by clicking a column header.
- Search the list using the Find feature.
