fix
Change the SQL Server authentication to SQL Server and Windows authentication. To do this, follow these instructions:
  1. Open Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Manager.
  2. Expand Microsoft SQL Servers and SQL Server Group.
  3. Right-click the SQL Server name and select Properties from the menu.
  4. On the Security tab, select SQL Server and Windows as your choice for authentication.

After you have changed the authentication method return to the installation and click Back. No changes are required on this window. When you click Next and your installation should continue.

NOTE: Mixed Mode Authentication is only required during installation. After the installation completes, SQL Server can be configured to use Windows Only authentication, if necessary.

note
Starting with Security Manager 4.0, the installation program does support Windows only authentication.
