Which of the three sets of credentials that I specify when creating and running a project takes prec (NETIQKB1372)

Credentials are requested at the following three points:

• the Project creation
• the Select Mail Objects wizard
• the Migrate Mail Objects wizard.

The credentials specified at each point are used for that particular process, and not used in other processes. In other words, one does not override or take precendence over the other. They are used independently. The only information that is stored is the username and domain, but this is just to present it to an administrator at each point so that they do not have to type it in again.
