goal
Can multiple user templates be created to specify different Microsoft Exchange 5.5 servers?

fix
Yes. Multiple user account templates can be created, each specifying a different Microsoft Exchange 5.5 server. The following steps describe how to create a user template with a mailbox residing on any given Home server (Microsoft Exchange 5.5 server):

Launch the Directory and Resource Administrator MMC while logged on as an Assistant Admin with, at minimum, the Built-in User Account and Built-in Mailbox roles.
Expand My ActiveViewsand then All my managed objects.
Highlight User Views.
Click New and select User.
Click OK.
Complete the account creation workflow.
Highlight the account and click Properties
Select the Mailbox tab.
Click Clone Mailbox.
Select a user account with a mailbox on the desired Exchange server.
Enter the necessary mailbox properties for the user template.
Click OK.
Click OK.

The new user account and mailbox are now ready to be used as the template in a clone operation. The mailboxes for all new accounts resulting from cloning this template will reside on the same Microsoft Exchange 5.5 server.
To create another template specifying a different Microsoft Exchange 5.5 server, simple perform the steps above.
