HP Open View / Vantage Point Operations
Situation
AppManager Connector for HP Open View / Vantage Point Operations (VPO) not forwarding events
Resolution
Contact your Netiq Sales Representative to get the proper license key for your HP Open View / Vantage Point Operations connector.
Cause
You may have received a permanent license for the HP Open View / ITO connector. This license applies to the older version of the AppManager connector and will not function with the AppManager version of the HP Open view connector, now called the HP Open View / Vantage Point Operations connector.
You need this same license for use with either an HP Open View / ITO or HP Open View / Vantage Point Operations (VPO) environment if you have AppManager Events were forwarded for a period of time because your initial installation of AppManager included a 30 day license for all components including your connector. Once the 30 day period passed the HP OV / ITO connector license will not function for HP OV/ VPO.
