Environment

NetIQ AppManager 6.x
NetIQ AppManager 7.0.x

Situation

Data is not being sent to the Management Server from a particular agent
Events are not being sent to the Management Server from a particular agent

Resolution

Both AM Agent services, the NetIQ AppManager Client Resource Monitor and the NetIQ AppManager Client Conversation Manager, must be using the same security context.  Set both services to use the same Domain Account with Local Admin rights, or set them both to run as LocalSystem, and then restart both services.

Cause

The NetIQ AppManager Client Resource Monitor and the NetIQ AppManager Client Conversation Manager services are each running using different security contexts.
