ZENworks Configuration Management 2017 Update 1
Situation
On Linux: In a case where both the original file and soft link are present and proper, File Removal Action to remove the soft link will remove it. However in the case where the original file has been deleted, File Removal Action will not delete the soft link.
Resolution
Workaround: Instead of using File Removal Action, make a Launch Script action to remove the soft link.
Cause
File Removal Action on Linux was not designed to handle soft links and does not use "rm".
