Mobile Management (ZENworks Mobile Management)
Situation
On December 31, 2020 Adobe stopped distributing and updating
Flash Player. ZENworks Mobile Management requires Flash to access
the management console. While this does not impact the mobile
device functionality, it does restrict the administrator from
accessing the management console.
As previously announced as of December 31, 2020 ZENworks
Mobile Management will reached it's end of life. We recommend that
customers make the move to ZENworks Configuration Management for
their mobile management needs. However, we realize that this may
not be immediately possible and may take some time to complete.
Resolution
To help extend the ability to administer the ZMM system we
have created a containerized version of Firefox-ESR 60.8 with an
older version of Flash Player that will not stop working on
December 31, 2020. We recommend using this only for managing your
ZENworks Mobile Management solution.

To use this browser to access your ZMM management
console:
- Copy the firefox-zmm.exe to the device where you want to access the console from.
- Run firefox-zmm.exe and browse to your ZMM admin portal.
Please be advised that it is not recommended to use this
browser to communicate with any other website. To further secure
your server environment it is recommended that you restrict
administration access to the flash console by following the steps
listed in the following document:
Also please note that you may also need to go into Programs
and Features on your local machine and uninstall the Flash Plugin.
The browser may still attempt to use previously installed versions
before using the one within the container if it is not
uninstalled.
