Situation
When attempting to migrate from Messenger 3.x to Messenger 18.2.1 or 18.3.0, when choosing to use LDAP ssl and port 636 with an eDirectory "rootcert.der", the result is that the migration fails and you get the error of 0xAD15 :

Cause
Error in the migration code. The developer has duplicated this issue also and is currently coding a fix that will be tested.
