SmartPhone method
Situation
High Utilization on Advanced Auth servers when processing RADIUS events.
VPN Client appears hung while waiting for SmartPhone push notification.
Simultaneous Authentication fails with smartphone method.
Only one user can login at at time. No other users receive push notification until the first user in line responds to the accept/decline dialog on the smartphone app.
Resolution
Set debugging logging to OFF from the logs tab of the Advanced Authentication Admin page.
Micro Focus recommends that debug logging should only be enabled when troubleshooting a problem.
Cause
The RADIUS server works in a single-thread mode when debug logging is enabled.
