Situation
Unable to use fingerprint reader on Linux workstation
“No service available” error after configuring Device Service for fingerprint reader
Resolution
This is not a supported configuration.
The fingerprint method is only supported on Microsoft Windows workstations.
Also, the Advanced Authentication Client has not been tested with Ubuntu thin clients.
