How to Fix Object in Administration Console that Cannot be Modified Because Replication is in Progress

When attempting to modify an object in the GroupWise Administration Console while connected to the primary domain, it is found that an object cannot be modified because of a message "Replication is in Progress"


There are two possible resolutions to this:

1)  Go into the System object and select Pending Operations and see if there are any operations that are listed there for the object that is being modified.  If there is, it is possible to cancel the operation and all things should return to normal.

2)  If option 1 does not show any Pending Operations, then in multi domain/post office systems use the GroupWise Admin Console to connect to a secondary domain.  It is likely that the same object will not show any issues.  Simply add some text to the description field of the object and then save it and then see if that replicates back to the primary domain.  You should see the object in a modifiable status. 


When a change is made at the primary domain, the object will remain in an unsafe status until all secondaries report back that the change has been committed.
