"Sharing failed. An error has occured...." with Filr 4.2.1

Environment

Micro Focus Filr 4.2.1

Situation

After updating to Filr 4.2.1 and going to Share -> Manage Share and choosing to edit the share link, the following error will be returned:
Sharing failed
An error has occurred when trying to share the following:
<File Name>
This problem does not exist with Filr 4.2

Resolution

Workaround:
While modifying the link from the Manage Shares menu will result in an error, right-clicking the link and choosing "Modify Link" will work.
