Situation

While editing a document using Filr Content Editor for extended periods, the user's work may not be saved.

Resolution

Adjust the timeout settings in Filr. To match the previous Filr version's behavior, the followng two settings can be defined on the Filr appliance:
  • filr.token.expiration.interval = 14400
  • filr.token.refresh.window = 3600
To enable, add the above settings in the /opt/novell/filr/apache-tomcat/webapps/ssf/WEB-INF/classes/config/ssf-ext.properties.

Cause

The session is timing out.
