Environment

Reflection Desktop (including Pro, for X, for IBM, or for UNIX and OpenVMS) 16.2 and higher

Situation

Sometimes when launching a Reflection Desktop Workspace over a Microsoft Windows Remote Desktop connection (or with other remote access tools), the Reflection banner or splash screen will not always display.

Resolution

This problem will only occur if applying an "update.settings" file to update the Reflection Workspace settings in the application.settings file in the user's AppData location.

Upgrade to Reflection Desktop 16.2 Update 3 (version 16.2.0.780) or higher and the Reflection Desktop banner or splash screen will always appear when using Windows Remote Desktop. Obtain the latest updates from the Downloads site.
