Digests not going out and quarantined messages not showing up for users part of a new domain.

GWAVA (Secure Messaging Gateway) 7

Situation

Digests are not going out to users that are part of a new domain. The domain was recently added to the SMG server. Messages are getting blocked and quarantined, but the users are not getting a digest. Also, if one of the users login to the QMS, they aren't seeing the messages.

Resolution

In order for a quarantined message to show up in a user's digest or their own quarantine, it needs to be linked with that user. In order for that to happen Defined domains needs to be checked under Module Management | Mail Relay Module Manager | Manage Relay Modules | Delivery targets


After enabling this, restart the modules under Module Management | Module Status and click on Restart All. Watch the Run Time column to ensure they all show a time in green (which means they are running).


Now any new messages that get quarantined should show up in the user's quarantine and digest reports.
