Upgrade from Filr 3.4.3 to Filr 4.0 fails if the database connection is encrypted

Micro Focus Filr 4.0

Situation

When the connection to the database (such as MySQL or other database) is configured with an encrypted connection, the upgrade to Filr 4.0 will fail during the update database step.

Resolution

Workaround:
Prior to the upgrade, change the database connection configuration to not have an encrypted connection.
Resolution:
Apply the 4.0.1 Filr patch.  With this update, a new check box option called "Encrypt Database Connection" is available in the configuration wizard.
