Environment

Micro Focus Filr 4.0

Situation

Filr users with the 3.4.x Filr Client installed are not receiving the notification of the new Filr Desktop client (version 4.0).  Also, viewing the Filr Desktop Console -> System Alerts does not show there is an updated Filr client available for download.  This issue exists only with 32 bit Windows machines.

Resolution

Apply the 4.0.1 Filr patch.

Cause

The wrong .json version file is being queried.
