Retain Unified Archiving
Situation
When I search the archive from the GroupWise client, I get different results then when the same search is done in Retain.
Resolution
This is working as designed.
Cause
Searching is handled differently in Retain and GroupWise. GroupWise searches for the whole word only. Retain uses a "starts with" search. For example:
A search in GroupWise for "new" will only return items that have the exact work "new" in them. The same search in Retain will return results for "new", "news", "newer", "Newark", etc.
