Filr not able to open archived file on a Metalogix server

Metalogix Archive Manager File Edition

Situation

Filr is unable to open a file, stored on a Windows server, if the file has been archived by the Metalogix Archive Manager.

Error: "error invalid argument" is observed in the famtd.log.

Resolution

A fix is available in Filr 3.4.2 and later code available over the update channels.

Cause

Filr was unable to process the Filr stubs created as a file placeholder by Metalogix towards the archived file's contents.
