ZENworks Configuration Management 2017 Update 3

With MSSQL zone database, after updating to 2017 update 3, devices fail to unregister.

ERROR (from services-messages.log):

[ZENService] [108] [] [Registration Web Service] [] [DataModelException occurred deleting device: com.novell.zenworks.datamodel.exceptions.ObjectNotDeletableException: com.novell.zenworks.datamodel.exceptions.InternalDataModelException: org.hibernate.exception.ConstraintViolationException: The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "fk_zPatchDeviceCompliance_ZUID". A fix for this issue is intended to be included in a future update to the product: however, in the interim, Micro Focus has made a Patch available for testing, in the form of a Field Test File (FTF): it can be obtained at as "ZCM 17.3/17.3a Fix for After updating devices can?t unregister - See TID 7023352".  This Patch should only be applied if the symptoms above are being experienced, and are causing problems.

This Patch has had limited testing, and should not be used in a production system without first being checked in a test environment. Some Patches have specific requirements for deployment, it is very important to follow any instructions in the readme at the download site. Please report any problems encountered when using this Patch, by using the feedback link on this TID.

Contact Micro Focus Customer Care ZENworks Techincal support if help is needed to apply the patch.
