SqlExceptionHelper Error after Retain Upgrade

Environment

Retain
SQL database

Situation

After upgrading Retain some functions are not available in the Retain Web Console.

Resolution

If after upgrading Retain you see an error in the Server log along the lines of 

00:00:36, 396[pool-1-thread-4898] [ERROR] SqlExceptionHelper: Invalid column name 'registrationEmailSentTime'.

That error is an indicator that Retain does not have sufficient rights to the database to be able to update the database schema.


Retain must have database owner rights to the database it is using.

Cause

Provide Retain with owner rights to the database Retain is using.
