Filr activity report for same day does not show all activities

Situation

Filr activity reports are executed in the time zone of the user requesting the report. In some time zones, such as Central European Time (CET) which are ahead of GMT, if the user requests an activity report for a single day then the report may not include all activities. However, if the user requests an activity report for 2 days then the report includes all the missing activities.

For example:
User 'jdoe' is in CET timezone and requests an activity report from May 22, 2018 to May 22, 2018. The report that is generated does not show all activities that occurred on May 22, 2018 CET. However, when 'jdoe' requests an activity report from May 22, 2018 to May 23, 2018, the report then includes all the desired activities from May 22, 2018 CET.

Resolution

A fix for this issue is available in the Filr 3.4.2 Update.

With the fix in place, following the same example from the above problem description, the report run from May 22, 2018 to May 22, 2018 will include all desired activities that occurred on May 22, 2018 CET.
