Allow TLSv1.2 only on Filr Configuration Console (port 9443)

Situation

Filr, Filr Search and Filr MySQL appliances allow administrators to connect to the appliance configuration console over port 9443 using a web browser. As a security best practice, the connection should only allow TLSv1.2.

Note that this is different from enforcing TLSv1.2 on the Filr user interface (port 443 / 8443), more details on which can be found in TID 7022397.

Resolution

A fix for this issue is available in Filr 3.4 Update. With the fix in place, the appliance configuration console over port 9443 for Filr, Filr Search and Filr MySQL appliances will only allow TLSv1.2 connections.
