Situation

  • Using AS/400 data transfer to transfer an iSeries database file.
  • Column header data is being received with the transferred CSV data.
  • You only want to receive the actual data, without a first row containing column header information.

Resolution

On the Options tab of the Transfer Settings dialog box is a drop-down selection labeled "Output to:".
  • If you want to retain column headers in the transferred data, select "Spreadsheet" from this list.
  • If you want to receive only the data, without column headers, select "File".
