Environment

Reflection Desktop (including Pro, for IBM, or for UNIX and OpenVMS) 16.0 or higher
Reflection 2014
Reflection Pro 2014
Reflection for IBM 2014
Reflection for UNIX and OpenVMS 2014
Reflection for IBM 2011
Reflection for UNIX and OpenVMS 2011
Reflection Standard Suite 2011

Situation

In the user interface modes "Classic" and "Classic MDI", there is no menu item or toolbar button to launch the “Context Menu Editor".  Right-clicking in the terminal window displays the context menu.  The "Context Menu Editor" allows you to customize this menu by adding or removing items.

There is either a button or menu item to access the Context Menu Editor in every other UI mode:
  • In Ribbon mode, click the “Context Menu” button on the Appearance tab
  • In Browser mode, click the Reflection menu, then choose “View”, “Context Menu”
  • In TouchUx mode, click the icon at the far left on the Reflection Workspace title bar, then click the Wrench icon, then in the “View” section click “Context Menu”

Resolution

If using Reflection Desktop 16.1:
        Upgrade to Reflection Desktop 16.1 SP1 U1 HF3 (16.1.385) or higher

After upgrading, the "Context Menu Editor" can be accessed in "Classic" and "Classic MDI" UI modes by selecting from the menu:
  • In a VT session, select Setup, Context Menu
  • In an IBM session, select View, Context Menu

Workaround:

Use the "Classic UI Designer" to create a menu item or toolbar button and map it to the Action: “Context Menu”.

See "Customize Classic Menus and Toolbars" for information on creating a menu item or toolbar button:
