Micro Focus Filr 3.3.1
Situation
After applying the Filr 3.3.1 Update, accessing the Filr site from the web interface leads to the following error message:
ERROR: 404 "Host header validation failed..."

Resolution
Please contact Micro Focus Customer Care with reference to this TID to resolve this issue.
This issue will no longer occur if updating to Filr 3.3.2 Update.

Cause
Filr 3.3.1 implements increased security and enables HOST validation by default. Due to this, Filr sites that can be accessed using multiple domains lead to a host validation failure error.
For example: If you have filr.abc.org and filr.xyz.org both leading to the same Filr system (by fronting with a load balancer or reverse proxy, etc.), then the HOST validation will fail because the hostname configured on the Filr appliance only knows about one of the domains.
