Situation

Using the Filr Desktop client for macOS, folders which contain a DOT in their name do not show any content. If the same folder is accessed using the Filr web interface or using the Filr Desktop client for Windows, the folder shows the correct content.

For example, the following folder will appear empty when accessed using the Filr Desktop client for macOS:
Net Folders/ACME/February.2017/

Resolution

A fix for this issue is available in the Filr 3.3.1 Update.

Cause

The presence of a DOT in the folder name was treating the folder as a Package file on macOS.
